AI can make competent work look finished almost instantly. I use these tools constantly, and the more capable they become, the more interested I am in what should remain ours.

I’ve been calling one part of this Language Artificialization, what happens when something human gets accelerated, polished, and scaled until everything begins carrying the same fingerprints. This conversation can move through AI, communication, creativity, leadership, taste, synthetic signal, authorship, and the rules I use to let machines increase my cognitive capability without quietly handing them responsibility for the thinking.

Most of my career has happened in rooms where several things were true at once and the clean answer was unavailable. Product, organization, ownership, capital, incentives, personalities, fear, time, all moving together.

I like those rooms, and I’m interested in how we read a system before reducing it into individual problems, how we find the constraint that actually matters, and how leaders make decisions with incomplete information without pretending uncertainty has disappeared. Sometimes the room needs full attack. Sometimes the most intelligent move is to stop adding force. Knowing the difference has become as interesting to me as knowing what to do.

More is incredibly persuasive when every individual decision can be explained.

I’ve been thinking about desire at the level of a person, a family, a company, and increasingly a country. What happens when ambition, consumption, leverage, speed, or capability keeps expanding and nobody is responsible for governing the total pattern?

This conversation tends to wander through money, power, restraint, debt, ambition, leadership, enough, and margin. I’m increasingly convinced that margin is one of the most misunderstood forms of power. It gives a person or system room to tell the truth and still choose what happens next.

Families can be the most powerful spaces for growth, but it takes intentionality. I focus on shaping a family culture that reflects shared values, encourages self-awareness, and equips my children to navigate the world with confidence and purpose.

Everything begins with overcoming yourself. Through self-awareness, accountability, and constant growth, I’ve built a life that thrives on the pursuit of becoming the best version of myself, while embracing the slips and celebrating the surges.

I track things. I journal. I take an unreasonable number of photographs. I measure rides. I have spent most of my adult life building some kind of archive.

That record has helped me tremendously, and lately I’ve become interested in the moment when evidence starts asking for more authority than it deserves. What happens when the watch misses the ride? When a moment feels less complete because it was not photographed? When reflection starts managing the life it was supposed to witness?

Digital sobriety and information pollution are part of this conversation, and the question has become larger for me. I’m interested in attention, measurement, technology, memory, presence, and what we lose when everything meaningful has to become data, content, insight, or proof.
